A pesar de crisis, de supuestas reducciones de tÃtulos, de devoluciones, de los cambios que se están produciendo en el sector, siguen naciendo editoriales con proyectos especÃficos que permiten llenar vacÃos que otras empresas no están cubriendo. Es el caso de Nevsky Prospects, que dedicará sus esfuerzos a traducir y publicar literatura rusa inédita o poco conocida, lo que permitirá completar bibliografÃas y descubrir joyas de autores no editados hasta ahora en España.
Los fundadores de la editorial con sede en Madrid son James Womack, licenciado en Literatura Rusa por la Universidad de Oxford y premiado en varias ocasiones por sus trabajos de traducción; y Marian Womack, traductora y asesora de literatura en lengua castellana para editoriales británicas.
Se anuncia ya el lanzamiento, en octubre, del libro de cuentos Historias de Belkin, de Alexander Pushkin y en noviembre la antologÃa Rusia Gótica, con narraciones de Baratynski, Somov, Zagoskin, y Pogorelski, prologados por Espido Freire.
Desde Revista de Letras deseamos mucha suerte a estos aventureros que se adentran en las difÃciles aguas de la edición editorial.
